In this role, you'll design, develop, and support enterprise-grade applications while working closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver user-focused outcomes. You'll be part of a team that embraces innovation, continuous improvement, and modern engineering practices.
Due to Security Clearance Requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizen with minimum of Baseline Clearance or Higher.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support scalable Java applications using Spring Boot in a Linux environment.
- Build secure, high-quality REST and SOAP web services following modern development standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver robust and user-centric solutions.
- Contribute to solution design, technical improvements, and continuous delivery practices.
- Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Demonstrated experience developing high-performance, scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot 3 / Spring 6.
- Strong experience with J2EE, Linux, and Agile/Lean delivery methodologies.
- Experience building RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Solid front-end development skills with Bootstrap, Thymeleaf, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience using Maven, IntelliJ IDEA, and GitHub.
- Strong understanding of automated testing using JUnit or TestNG.
