Senior Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to support key regulatory and compliance initiatives within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role will focus on obligations management, regulatory interpretation, compliance uplift activities, and partnering with stakeholders to embed compliance requirements across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret regulatory requirements, legislation, prudential standards, and internal policy obligations.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into practical business obligations, controls, and compliance actions.
  • Lead and support obligations management activities, including assessment, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Drive compliance uplift, remediation, and regulatory change initiatives.
  • Partner with business, risk, and compliance stakeholders to embed regulatory requirements and strengthen compliance outcomes.
  • Support the enhancement of compliance frameworks, policies, standards, and governance processes.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications for senior stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience in regulatory obligations management within a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret regulatory requirements, legislation, prudential standards, and internal policy obligations.
  • Proven experience translating regulatory obligations into practical business requirements, controls, and compliance outcomes.
  • Experience leading or supporting compliance uplift, remediation, regulatory change, or transformation initiatives.
  • Background working within a Second Line of Defence (2LOD) Compliance function is highly regarded.
  • Banking and Financial Services experience preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business, risk, and compliance teams.
