We are currently partnering with a Queensland Government department seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join their Information Technology Services (ITS) branch within the Information Management Program.
This role will support the delivery of key digital transformation initiatives, including the Content Services Platform and Information Management & Maturity Uplift Projects, providing governance, reporting, coordination and assurance support across the program.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Governance
- Support Project Managers in planning, scheduling and monitoring project activities.
- Coordinate project meetings, workshops and governance forums.
- Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes and track actions through to completion.
- Assist in project reporting, status updates and assurance activities.
- Maintain project documentation and registers in line with governance requirements.
- Utilise project management tools such as Azure DevOps, MS Project, MS Teams Planner or similar platforms.
- Identify, document and monitor project risks, issues and dependencies.
- Support the development and tracking of mitigation strategies.
- Escalate risks and issues to Project Managers where required.
- Assist with change management activities supporting the rollout of a new electronic records management solution.
- Coordinate training sessions, communications and user readiness activities.
- Support business engagement throughout the transition process.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication across business and technical teams.
- Ensure stakeholder needs and expectations are understood and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Schedule testing sessions and workshops.
- Track feedback, defects and action items through to resolution.
- Support project assurance and quality activities as required.
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator within a government or enterprise environment.
- Experience supporting technology, digital transformation, information management or records management projects.
- Strong governance, reporting and secretariat capabilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Azure DevOps, MS Project, Teams Planner or similar.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, SharePoint and Teams.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience coordinating workshops, meetings, training sessions and UAT activities.
