We are seeking an experienced Principal Business Analyst to join a major enterprise transformation program focused on modernising workforce and HR processes within a large and complex Queensland organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile workforce mobility initiative that will improve employee lifecycle experiences, streamline business processes and enhance workforce management capabilities.
About the Role
Reporting to the Program Director, you will lead the identification, analysis and documentation of business processes, data requirements and future-state solutions. Working with stakeholders across the state, you will play a critical role in ensuring business needs are translated into effective and sustainable solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading business analysis activities across a large-scale transformation program
- Facilitating workshops and engaging with diverse stakeholder groups
- Eliciting, analysing and documenting business, user and data requirements
- Conducting current-state and future-state process analysis
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and business transformation
- Producing high-quality business analysis artefacts and documentation
- Providing strategic advice on business and solution processes
- Supporting knowledge transfer and capability uplift activities within the organisation [Role Descr...ty Project | Word]
- Extensive experience as a Senior or Principal Business Analyst on large-scale enterprise programs
- Demonstrated experience within Human Capital Management (HCM) projects or transformations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Proven ability to analyse complex business requirements and develop practical solutions
- Experience documenting business processes, requirements and operating models
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working within complex government, healthcare or large enterprise environments will be highly regarded
- SAP HCM experience is desirable
- Navigate complexity and ambiguity with confidence
- Drive outcomes while maintaining a collaborative approach
- Think strategically and influence decision-making
- Identify risks, opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver high-quality results within tight project timeframes
