12 Month Contract | Melbourne | Hybrid Working
We're seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join a major security uplift and platform transformation program. Working across AWS and Azure environments, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure database access solutions while improving the reliability, security, and operational maturity of critical Oracle database platforms.
About You
- Demonstrated experience as an Oracle Database Administrator supporting enterprise Oracle environments.
- Strong experience administering and maintaining large-scale Oracle database platforms.
- Experience working within AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of database security, authentication, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, or similar.
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience supporting business-critical production environments.
- Experience delivering security uplift, cloud transformation, or platform modernisation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Entra ID integration and modern authentication solutions.
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and high-availability configurations.
- Cloud certifications across AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience managing Oracle databases in cloud-hosted environments.
