About the Role:
We are seeking a Network Solution Architect to lead network modernisation, connectivity and telecommunications transformation initiatives. This is a hands-on architecture role spanning strategy, design governance and delivery support across critical infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Assess current-state network/connectivity/security and define future-state architecture, standards and roadmaps
- Design/assure complex solutions across core network modernisation, Internet-first, Zero Trust, secure access, segmentation and resilience
- Provide architectural governance, reference architectures, technical leadership and design reviews
- Work closely with engineering and security teams to solve complex technical issues and support major delivery milestones/incident investigations
Required experience
- Proven experience with solution architecture (network-focused) in large/complex organisations
- Strong enterprise networking background: routing/switching, WAN/LAN/SD-WAN, campus networks, internet edge
- Cloud networking (hybrid environments), ideally Azure networking
- Network security architecture: firewalls, proxies/web gateways, NAC, DNS security, Zero Trust/segmentation
- Protocols/tech: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN/EVPN, DNS/DHCP, load balancing, HA/DR
- Experience with Zscaler(highly regarded)
