We're seeking a Network Automation Engineer to play a key role in building and enhancing network automation capabilities within a complex enterprise environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to establish standards, automate manual processes, and drive Infrastructure as Code practices across the network function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance network automation solutions and tooling.
- Establish and maintain a reliable source of truth for network infrastructure data.
- Identify and automate manual network operational processes.
- Build integrations between network and security platforms using APIs.
- Support network discovery, analysis, and standardisation initiatives.
- Work closely with Network Engineers to translate manual processes into automated solutions.
- Promote DevOps and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Strong experience with Python, APIs, and automation development.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Solid enterprise networking background.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and automation frameworks.
- Experience integrating network and security platforms.
- Exposure to Palo Alto technologies is highly regarded.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- 12-month contract with potential extension opportunities.
