About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking Lead SAP S/4HANA Functional Analysts
to support a major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation program, migrating from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA.
We are seeking experienced SAP professionals across the following functional streams:
SAP Finance Functional Analyst
Responsible for providing expert advice on SAP ECC to S/4HANA Finance transformation activities, including:
• General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Asset Accounting
• Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders and Profit Centre Accounting
• Financial closing, taxation, banking and payment processes
• S/4HANA Finance capabilities including Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Business Partner, New Asset Accounting, Margin Analysis and Fiori Finance applications
• Finance data migration, reconciliation, testing and cutover activities
SAP Procurement Functional Analyst
Responsible for supporting SAP ECC to S/4HANA Procurement transformation activities, including:
• Purchasing, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts and scheduling agreements
• Supplier management, inventory management, goods receipt and invoice verification processes
• S/4HANA Procurement capabilities including Business Partner, simplified procurement, Fiori purchasing applications and flexible workflow
• Supplier master, material master and purchasing document migration activities
• Procurement integrations, including IDocs and APIs
SAP HCM Functional Analyst
Responsible for supporting SAP ECC to S/4HANA HCM transformation activities, including:
• Personnel Administration, Organisational Management, Time Management and Payroll processes
• HR master data, infotypes, personnel actions and enterprise structure configuration
• Payroll and time process impacts, wage types, schemas and time evaluation concepts
• HCM for S/4HANA compatibility, Business Partner impacts and simplification analysis
• Functional testing, data validation, reconciliation and cutover planning
This is a long-term contract role with an initial contract duration of up to 12 months, with potential extensions up to a maximum of 24 months. The role is located in Canberra, Brisbane or Melbourne, with a hybrid working arrangement. Successful candidates will be required to work onsite for the first 6 weeks, after which hybrid flexibility may be considered.
As the selected candidate, you will:
• Lead functional analysis and solution design activities supporting the SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA migration program.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements aligned with enterprise architectures and solution designs.
• Provide senior SAP functional expertise, recommendations and guidance to business stakeholders and ICT teams.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, project teams and business areas to define effective solutions.
• Support SAP Activate methodology activities including discovery, fit-to-standard workshops, design, testing, migration and deployment activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, technology capability and operational outcomes.
• Lead solution design activities for complex ICT systems and ensure alignment with organisational standards.
To be successful in this role you should have:
• Demonstrated experience as a Lead SAP Functional Analyst, SAP Solution Designer, Senior SAP Consultant or equivalent role.
• Strong experience delivering SAP S/4HANA transformation or migration programs, including ECC6 to S/4HANA initiatives.
• Experience applying SAP Activate methodology within SAP implementation or migration projects.
• Strong consultancy skills, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, analysis and solution recommendation.
• Experience leading system design activities for large and complex enterprise ICT environments.
• Ability to translate business strategy and operational requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Experience supporting SAP migration activities including data analysis, validation, reconciliation, testing and cutover planning.
• Knowledge of SAP integration concepts including IDocs, APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
• Ability to work independently, influence stakeholders and provide senior-level technical advice.
It is desirable if you have:
• Experience specialising in SAP Finance (FI/CO), Procurement (MM) or HCM functional streams.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA capabilities including Business Partner, Fiori applications, Universal Journal, Migration Cockpit and Simplification Item analysis.
• Experience with software design principles, solution architecture and enterprise technology standards.
• Experience working within large government or highly regulated enterprise environments.
Due to security clearance requirements

a Baseline security clearance.
