About the role
We’re seeking a Senior Data Centre & Infrastructure Engineer to support a cyber security program of work, delivering initiatives across penetration testing remediation, infrastructure modernisation, and network segregation.
Based in Brisbane, you’ll analyse current-state services and design and deliver target-state migrations into modern, secure data centre environments—working closely with cyber security, data centre and wider stakeholders to plan, implement, test and document changes.
Required skills / experience
- Proven delivery of complex data centre infrastructure and workload migration initiatives.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware and Nutanix (including migration activities and platform operations).
- Strong Windows Server administration and remediation experience.
- Active Directory and core Microsoft infrastructure services capability.
- Solid infrastructure solution design skills (target-state design aligned to architecture standards).
- Strong networking including VLAN / network changes, re-IP, DNS updates, and coordinating validation/testing.
- Experience producing high-quality technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to remediate infrastructure issues arising from penetration testing / vulnerability assessments.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple teams/stakeholders in an enterprise environment.
