A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Geospatial Consultant to support and enhance its enterprise GIS environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a GIS professional with strong platform administration and support experience to contribute to the ongoing reliability, performance, and improvement of critical spatial systems.

The Role
As a Geospatial Consultant, you will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimisation of enterprise GIS platforms and services. You will work closely with technical teams, project stakeholders, and business users to ensure spatial systems remain secure, reliable, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support enterprise GIS platforms, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro, and VertiGIS.
- Assist with GIS platform upgrades, migrations, deployments, and enhancement projects.
- Manage and maintain enterprise geodatabases, including datasets, feature classes, and database views.
- Publish, configure, and maintain map services, web services, and geoprocessing services.
- Support application and service deployments across development, test, and production environments.
- Monitor system performance and investigate issues relating to GIS infrastructure and services.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support to internal users and project teams.
- Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting ArcGIS environments and VertiGIS platforms.
- Demonstrated experience delivering GIS upgrades, migrations, and system enhancement initiatives within enterprise environments.
- Experience managing and supporting SDE enterprise geodatabases.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across GIS platforms and infrastructure.
- Experience publishing and supporting GIS services and applications.
- Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Exposure to systems such as Tengraph, GeoView, GeoResources, or similar spatial platforms.
- Experience working within mining, resources, government, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
- Understanding of GIS governance frameworks, spatial data standards, and industry best practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale GIS implementations, upgrades, migrations, or transformation initiatives.
- Initial 12-month contract with the potential for a further 12-month extension.
