We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Facilities Coordinator / Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and compliance of critical data centre infrastructure. Reporting to the Data Centre Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring all facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and with maximum uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain critical infrastructure systems, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment.
- Ensure all facility systems operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with operational standards.
- Coordinate and oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Support emergency preparedness activities and critical incident response planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service partners.
- Monitor facility performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations for improvement.
- Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in facilities management, preferably within a data centre or critical infrastructure environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, and service agreements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage competing priorities.
