About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking an Enterprise Architect (ERP Program).
This is a long-term contract role with an initial 6-month contract plus extension options, located in Canberra (ACT) with hybrid working arrangements (minimum 3 days per week in the office).
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Provide enterprise architecture leadership, governance, assurance and advisory services across the ERP Program lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain current-state, transition-state and target-state architecture artefacts across business, data, application, technology and security domains.
- Ensure alignment of Workday, ServiceNow and implementation partner solutions with enterprise architecture principles, technology roadmaps, cloud strategy and cyber security requirements.
- Prepare architecture advice, decision papers, governance packs and diagrams for Architecture Boards, Program Boards and Steering Committees.
- Identify and manage architecture risks, issues, dependencies, constraints and decision points.
- Lead architecture activities outside core platform configurations, including integration, identity, access management, reporting, monitoring and operational support design patterns.
- Support ERP integration architecture, including API design patterns, middleware, event flows, service boundaries, monitoring and operational support.
- Work collaboratively with Cyber Security, IT Operations, business stakeholders, data owners, vendors and implementation partners.
- Review and provide assurance over solution architecture, integration design, environment design, data migration approaches and transition-to-operations artefacts.
- Support legacy system decommissioning activities, including SAP-related capabilities, reporting continuity, records management and transition planning.
- Demonstrated experience providing enterprise architecture leadership, governance and design assurance across complex ERP or corporate systems programs.
- Strong experience in enterprise architecture domains including integration, identity and access management, data architecture, reporting, cyber security, records management and service management.
- Proven ability to develop architecture artefacts and provide advice to senior stakeholders, governance boards and executive committees.
- Experience reviewing and assuring vendor and implementation partner architecture deliverables.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, integration patterns, operational support models and transition-to-operations activities.
- Experience working across large-scale business transformation and technology modernisation programs.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to identify and manage architecture risks, dependencies and governance requirements.
- Experience working with Workday, ServiceNow and SAP environments.
- Experience collaborating with large implementation partners such as Accenture.
- Experience within the Australian Federal Government environment.
- Knowledge of ERP transformation programs covering finance, procurement, workforce management, payroll, travel, asset management and service management functions.
