This is a permanent role, based onsite in Adelaide (not open for remote work) and due to the nature of the work, you MUST be eligible for AGSVA Security Clearance.
Existing clearance is NOT required – just the willingness and ability to be Security Cleared!

Indeed, in this C++ Embedded Software Engineer role, you will join a thriving Engineering team developing innovative software solutions for a range of industries. Indeed, you will work closely with Systems Engineer, Electronics and RF to develop embedded software for real hardware products, helping to bring new features and capabilities from concept through to production.
Involved through the whole product lifecycle, you will take ownership of software components and contribute to products that are deployed across the globe. As the company continues to grow and develop, you will get the chance to contribute to the modernisation of their embedded software platforms, helping to develop robust, high-quality software using current tools and development practices.
Skills and Experience required
- In-depth commercial experience developing embedded software for hardware products.
- Strong C and C++ programming
- Experience developing software on Embedded Linux, RTOS platforms or both.
- Skilled at debugging software on embedded hardware, with a good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP.
- Skilled with device drivers, multithreaded software, communications protocols, Python or automated testing would be advantageous, (not essential).
- Exposure to ARM based embedded systems, digital communications, DSP or FPGA based systems would also be a bonus.
- Ideally, degree-qualified in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline.
