About the Opportunity
This role will play a key part in translating business needs into meaningful reporting and dashboard solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, project teams and developers, you'll help shape reporting capabilities that provide consistent, trusted and transparent planning and admissions information across the organisation.
You'll be responsible for gathering requirements, defining KPIs and metrics, creating user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensuring dashboard solutions are delivered in line with business expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder engagement workshops to capture and analyse reporting and dashboard requirements.
- Define business needs, KPIs and key metrics for reporting solutions.
- Translate business objectives into clear, actionable requirements and dashboard specifications.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria and test cases.
- Work closely with technical teams, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and developers.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support issue resolution.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure ongoing alignment throughout project delivery.
- Support change management activities, training and adoption of new reporting solutions.
- Ensure reporting solutions meet data governance, compliance and quality standards.
Key skills include:
- Strong Business Analysis experience focused on Power BI or similar BI/reporting platforms.
- Proven ability to gather, document and prioritise reporting requirements.
- Experience defining business metrics, KPIs and reporting outcomes.
- Knowledge of dashboard design, wireframing and prototyping.
- Understanding of data modelling concepts and their impact on reporting solutions.
- Experience facilitating UAT and validating delivered solutions.
- Familiarity with data governance, compliance and data quality principles.
- Experience using JIRA or similar tools to manage requirements and delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
