An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Associate Change Analyst to support the successful delivery of large-scale digital and technology transformation initiatives within a major Australian Government agency.
This role will suit a hands-on change professional who enjoys working directly with project teams, stakeholders and business areas to ensure successful adoption of new technologies, systems and ways of working.
You will be part of a high-performing transformation environment supporting enterprise-wide change initiatives that impact staff, business processes, service delivery and digital capabilities.
About the Role As an Associate Change Analyst, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of organisational change activities across ICT and digital transformation programs.
Working closely with Change Managers, Project Managers, Communications specialists and business stakeholders, you will assist in assessing impacts, preparing stakeholders for change and supporting adoption activities to ensure successful project outcomes.
This role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to communicate complex information clearly, and experience supporting change within technology-enabled projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct change impact assessments across business and operational areas.
- Assist in developing and implementing change management strategies and plans.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities and maintain strong working relationships across project teams and business areas.
- Participate in change readiness assessments and adoption planning activities.
- Support the development and delivery of communication materials, presentations and awareness campaigns.
- Assist with training needs analysis and the development of learning and support materials.
- Monitor organisational readiness and identify potential risks or resistance to change.
- Support the tracking, measurement and reporting of change outcomes and adoption metrics.
- Work collaboratively with delivery teams operating within Agile and hybrid project environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned activities.
- Experience supporting organisational change within ICT, digital transformation, technology implementation or business transformation projects.
- Experience undertaking change impact assessments, readiness assessments or stakeholder analysis activities.
- Familiarity with recognised change management methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR or similar frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience developing or supporting communications, training or business readiness activities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Analytical and problem-solving capability with a focus on outcomes.
- Prosci, CCMP, Agile Change, APMG Change Management or related certification.
- Experience working in Australian Government environments.
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, Microsoft 365, Dynamics, Salesforce, SAP or other enterprise platforms.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum or SAFe delivery environments.
- Baseline Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
