As the V&V Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and management of system verification and validation activities, ensuring top-quality deliverables that meet stringent standards. You will support key projects within complex network and automation systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and testing.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in systems engineering, verification, and validation, coupled with proven leadership skills. Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in system verification and validation processes
- Strong knowledge of system test planning, development, and execution
- People leadership skills with experience managing teams of V&V engineers
- Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary technical teams
- Solid understanding of networked systems, telecommunications, or aerospace systems
- Proficiency with test environment management and configuration control
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with governmental or air traffic management organizations
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of Jira or other work management tools
- Experience with voice communications systems, VoIP, or digital/analog telephony
- Background in electronic systems, hardware development, or ICT projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (Master’s preferred)
- 7+ years of relevant experience in verification and validation roles
- Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or government agency projects
- Ability to obtain Australian Defence security clearance (Baseline-NV1 level)
- Willingness to work on-site in Melbourne with some hybrid working arrangements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
