Our client is seeking a Software Test Specialist to join a flagship program focused on AI-driven and real-time operational systems. You will work on cutting-edge software enabling next-generation industrial capabilities, including intelligent control systems, optimisation platforms, and mission-critical applications operating in complex, real-world environments.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute at the intersection of AI/ML, real-time systems, and large-scale distributed platforms, where reliability, performance, and safety are critical.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test strategies for distributed and real-time systems
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, system, regression)
- Validate AI/ML-enabled systems, including data flows and model behaviour
- Conduct performance, load, and resilience testing
- Embed testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
- Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to improve system quality
- Support defect analysis and root cause investigations
- Contribute to release readiness and quality metrics
- Strong years’ experience in software testing / quality engineering
- Experience testing backend or distributed systems
- Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Hands-on experience working in CI/CD environments
- Familiarity with performance and load testing methodologies
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Testing APIs and microservices architectures
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments
- Understanding of distributed and event-driven systems
- Performance/load testing tools experience
- Working knowledge of Linux
- Scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash)
- Experience with real-time or high-availability systems
- Exposure to industrial or operational technology environments
- Experience testing AI/ML or data-driven platforms
