An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Test Analysts with a strong data testing background to join a large‑scale data and analytics environment. These roles focus on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used across enterprise analytics, reporting, and operational systems.
You will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Business Analysts, and Technical Leads to validate complex data pipelines, dashboards, and integrated platforms, supporting high‑quality, data‑driven decision‑making.
The Role As a Test Analyst (Data), you will be responsible for end‑to‑end testing across data ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers, with a strong focus on analytics and reporting solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to test planning, estimation, readiness activities, and entry/exit criteria
- Performing end‑to‑end data testing across ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers
- Conducting SQL‑based data validation to identify inconsistencies, missing values, and integrity issues
- Validating data across layered architectures (raw, curated, modelled)
- Verifying dashboards and reports in Power BI (and Tableau where applicable) against business rules and logic
- Developing and executing test cases, scenarios, and data quality rules using ISTQB‑aligned techniques
- Testing ETL/ELT transformations and system‑to‑system data mappings
- Supporting regression testing following enhancements or schema changes
- Identifying defects early and collaborating with delivery teams to resolve root cause issues
- Maintaining test evidence, defect logs, and documentation for audit and assurance purposes
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience writing SQL for data validation and reconciliation
- Strong experience with Snowflake, including schemas and role‑based access control
- 3+ years’ experience validating Power BI data models, DAX logic, and reports
- 2+ years’ experience in data testing or QA environments
- Experience testing ETL/ELT processes and data transformations
- ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level (CTFL)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
- Tableau dashboard validation experience
- Jira and Git experience
- CI/CD exposure
- AWS or cloud data platform experience
- Advanced ISTQB certifications (CTAL‑TA or CTAL‑TTA)
