About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client, the Australian Federal Police, is seeking a Technical Transition Change Manager. This is a long-term contract role for an initial 36 months, located onsite in Canberra (ACT). Remote or flexible arrangements may be considered at the discretion of the client.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Lead and execute large-scale technology and organisational change initiatives
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies
- Design and deliver communication, training and stakeholder engagement plans
- Conduct change readiness assessments and impact analysis
- Develop risk treatment plans and mitigation strategies
- Monitor adoption, business readiness and benefits realisation
- Align multiple concurrent change initiatives with organisational priorities
- Provide expert advice on change management methodologies and best practice
- Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Support business units through digital and technology transformation
- Collaborate closely with project teams, executives and operational stakeholders
- Maintain documentation in line with AFP requirements
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentor team members
- Proven experience as an IT Change Manager in large, complex environments
- Strong expertise in recognised change management frameworks
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise technology transformation
- Experience developing communication and training strategies
- Ability to conduct readiness assessments and manage business risk
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience working in sensitive operational environments
- Ability to align multiple concurrent initiatives
- Strong reporting, governance and documentation skills
- Experience within Federal Government or law enforcement environments
- Experience using Digital Adoption software solutions
- Strong knowledge of ICT processes and emerging technology environments
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to uplift in ICT practices and procedures
