About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking an APS6 Senior Application Support Analyst (SAP Systems Analyst). This is a contract role for an initial 5-month contract with a further 5-month extension, located in the ACT with hybrid working arrangements.
As the selected candidate, you will:
• Investigate, prioritise, and resolve SAP and Salesforce application incidents across Level 1 and Level 2 support queues
• Manage escalations of priority incidents and liaise with internal teams and external vendors
• Apply ITIL best practices using an ICT Service Management (ITSM) tool for incident and service request management
• Distinguish between system defects and business rule or operational issues
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT and BVT by replicating and validating defects
• Perform data analysis and reporting in Microsoft Excel to identify trends and root causes
• Support software release cycles to ensure continuity of business operations
• Mentor team members on application support standards and best practices
To be successful in this role you should have:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience
in an ICT support role
• Demonstrated experience supporting SAP or Salesforce
platforms
• Proven experience using ICT Service Management tools and applying ITIL methodology
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Experience working within complex enterprise or government ICT environments
It is desirable if you have:
• An interest in accessibility and inclusive design principles
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and report on data using Microsoft Excel
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens
with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
