This is a high-impact opportunity for a Software Architect to shape the future of a complex, data-driven platform, including next-generation AI and intelligent workflow capabilities.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of the platform’s core data model and architecture, playing a pivotal role in modernising and scaling a high-volume mortgage origination system.
Working across the full lending lifecycle, from data capture through to credit decisioning and downstream integrations. You will operate in a horizontal leadership role spanning data, APIs, workflows and platform services.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and evolve the core data model across the platform
• Drive alignment with LIXI standards
• Design scalable, high-quality end-to-end data flows
• Contribute to platform modernisation and future-state architecture
• Enable product and engineering teams through API-driven capabilities
• Partner across teams to enhance serviceability, policy and credit decisioning
• Support data migration across AWS (RDS, Aurora) and relational databases
• Help shape AI-enabled and agentic mortgage workflows
About You
You’re a technically strong, commercially aware Software Architect or senior engineer with a passion for solving complex platform and data challenges.
You’ll bring experience across:
• Data modelling, data lineage and complex data environments
• Mortgage, lending or financial services platforms
• LIXI standards (highly regarded)
• C# / .NET development
• AWS (EC2, RDS, SQS, API Gateway)
• Aurora, MySQL or PostgreSQL
• API-led architecture and integrations
• Regulated or compliance-heavy environments
