We’re seeking a Senior SOE (Standard Operating Environment) Systems Engineer to support and uplift modern workplace / endpoint capabilities. You’ll work across SOE design, build, automation, endpoint management, and security hardening, partnering closely with technical teams and stakeholders to improve operational outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders and system administrators to optimise ICT solutions (implementation, usage, and ongoing management).
- Diagnose and resolve operational and technical issues across the endpoint/SOE environment.
- Contribute to and maintain a knowledge base (documentation, runbooks, procedures, and policies).
- Participate in software configuration planning and change management.
- Identify and escalate design/build/testing/quality risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Enforce compliance requirements within the ICT environment (security, configuration standards, governance).
- Provide knowledge transfer to other teams and contribute to continuous improvement of ICT practices.
- Mentor/coach team members; support delivery within agreed timeframes and quality expectations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational standards.
