This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for someone who lives and breathes social media, pop culture and internet trends — and knows how to turn that into engaging, phone‑shot content that performs.
About the role
You’ll join a small, specialist social media team, working alongside one other Social Media Specialist to deliver end‑to‑end social content across four priority platforms: TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
This role is all about getting ideas off the ground quickly - from spotting a trend, to shooting on your phone, to posting content that feels timely, platform‑native and authentic. You’ll have a high degree of autonomy, with streamlined sign‑off so strong ideas can move fast.
3 days on site in Burnley, 2 days WFH.
What you’ll be doing
- Creating end‑to‑end, phone‑based video content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
- Planning, shooting, editing and publishing content quickly and efficiently
- Tapping into internet culture, pop culture and platform trends to create relevant, engaging content
- Crafting content that knows how to hook viewers, spark conversation and drive engagement
- Increasing brand love, engagement and overall content quality across social channels
- Advocating for social media internally and bringing energy, ideas and momentum to the broader business
- Atleast 2 years experience producing similar content for a major organisation
- A deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends and online culture
- Strong creative instincts with the ability to ideate, plan and execute fast
- Confidence creating content independently and owning projects end‑to‑end
- Experience shooting and producing high‑quality short‑form video on a phone
- Ability to balance creativity with brand alignment and business objectives
- Experience working in a large or complex enterprise environment
