Are you a talented Senior Test Engineer looking looking to work at the forefront of robotics, automation, and advanced manufacturing? 
Our client is a fast‑growing technology company developing world‑first metal additive manufacturing systems used across defence, aerospace, medical and industrial sectors. They are seeking a skilled Senior Test Engineer to lead software and hardware validation across complex, high‑performance robotic systems.

This position is 100% onsite, Monday–Friday, working hands‑on with highly specialised equipment — ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, engineering‑focused environment.


About the Role
As the Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the testing, validation, and release of complex systems that integrate software, robotics, control system and specialised hardware.

  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Execute manual and automated tests across integrated software/hardware systems
  • Improve and manage automated CI/CD testing environments
  • Establish and manage test cells for end‑to‑end functional testing
  • Analyse system specifications and prepare high‑quality test documentation
  • Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with engineering teams
  • Ensure release quality for mission‑critical manufacturing platforms
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced tech environment and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges.

You’ll bring:
  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer in commercial development processes in software and/or systems engineering
  • Strong understanding of test methodologies and structured test frameworks
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Ability to turn technical requirements into clear, meaningful test cases
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with CI/CD, automation, robotics or mechatronics (highly regarded)
  • Experience with welding, industrial automation or manufacturing systems (bonus)
