This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end project delivery across technical workstreams in support of critical infrastructure modernisation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical infrastructure projects, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
- Establish and implement robust project management frameworks, controls, governance, reporting, and risk management practices
- Coordinate internal teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and external delivery partners/subcontractors
- Manage project dependencies across multiple workstreams in dynamic and evolving environments
- Produce executive-level reporting, progress updates, and management insights
- Drive stakeholder engagement across operational, engineering, and government-level audiences
- Ensure alignment to Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall delivery methodologies as appropriate
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience as a Technical Project Manager delivering complex infrastructure, engineering, or enterprise network projects
- Demonstrated experience managing technical deployments in complex, multi-disciplinary environments
- Strong background in engineering, enterprise IT, or network modernisation programs
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent stakeholder, vendor, and negotiation skills
- Strong governance, risk management, and reporting capability
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, IT, or related discipline (formal PM certification highly regarded)
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory
- Must be eligible to obtain Australian Defence Baseline Security Clearance
