NV1 Security Clearance Eligible
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to support enterprise data centre and virtualised environments in a secure, regulated setting. This is a hands‑on role focused on system availability, performance and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Linux (Red Hat) and Windows server environments
- Manage enterprise data centre infrastructure and virtualisation platforms (VMware)
- Perform system patching, upgrades and performance tuning
- Support identity management systems (AD, LDAP, etc.)
- Contribute to backup, disaster recovery and capacity planning
- Produce system and implementation documentation
- Participate in on‑call support and critical operations as required
- 7–9+ years’ experience in Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong Linux and Windows administration experience
- Hands‑on VMware virtualisation experience
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
- NetApp, Cisco UCS, VMware vCenter experience
- Scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible)
- Vendor certifications (VMware, Cisco, NetApp)
- Australian citizenship
- Ability to obtain NV1 security clearance
