About the Role: Our Federal Government client is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer (EL1 equivalent).
This is a 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options, located in ACT (Canberra) with hybrid working arrangements(mix of office and WFH).

As the selected candidate, you will:
  • Design, develop and test software components for applications across departments
  • Provide technical advice and collaborate with stakeholders across cyber security, infrastructure and architecture
  • Apply modern development practices and tools aligned with established patterns and procedures
  • Manage DevOps backlog activities and prioritise development tasks
  • Collaborate with delivery teams, architects and business analysts to deliver high-quality software
  • Support continuous improvement of software development processes and outputs
  • Ensure software solutions meet security, architectural and infrastructure requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A minimum of 7+ years’ experience as a Software developer, throughout the full lifecycle of a project from initiation through to sustainment
  • Have experience working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
  • Have experience working in software development teams and a working knowledge of System Development Lifecycles (SDLC).
  • Possess strong stakeholder management, time management, active listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess excellent communication, workshop facilitation and writing skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience in transformational projects at the enterprise level would be advantageous
It is desirable if you have:
  • Demonstrated 7+ years’ software development experience across the full project lifecycle
  • Experience working effectively both independently and within software development teams and a sound working knowledge of the SDLC
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal capability
  • Strong and relevant technical experience and capability
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens  with  Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1).
