A leading enterprise organisation is seeking a Senior SAP Platform Lead to take ownership of a large, complex SAP landscape spanning on‑premise and SAP Cloud environments. This role suits a hands‑on technical leader with deep SAP platform expertise and strong stakeholder influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP platforms including S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and SAP Java
- Drive and support RISE with SAP initiatives, including readiness, planning and cutover
- Administer and optimise SAP BTP (subaccounts, services, trust, Cloud Connector, Integration Suite)
- Manage SAP upgrades, patches, and enhancements with minimal downtime
- Ensure platforms meet security, compliance, and IT General Control requirements
- Own disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Provide technical input for audits and regulatory obligations
- Lead and influence SAP Engineering teams and vendor partners
- Contribute to continuous improvement and modernisation of SAP services
- 10+ years’ experience implementing and supporting SAP platforms in large, complex environments
- Strong background across on‑prem and SAP Cloud technologies
- 5+ years’ experience in senior or lead SAP technical roles
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead enterprise change
- Deep knowledge of SAP service operations, DevOps, and system integration
- Tertiary qualification in IT or a related discipline
- Enterprise‑scale SAP environment with high transaction volumes
