Senior Project Manager – Financial Crime Transformation| Multiple Opportunities
 
Our client, a leading Australian banking institution, is seeking multiple Senior Project Managers to join their Financial Crime Transformation Program
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering large-scale, complex initiatives across AML/CTF, Sanctions, Fraud, Scams, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption
 
About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of key projects within the Financial Crime Transformation Program. You will manage scope, timelines, budgets, and risks while ensuring alignment with strategic and regulatory objectives.
 
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across risk, compliance, technology, and business units in a highly regulated and fast-paced environment.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across complex transformation initiatives
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Drive governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and financial crime obligations
  • Track and deliver project benefits and outcomes
  • Collaborate across workstreams, business, technology, and risk teams
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels to drive successful outcomes
 
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within large financial institutions
  • Strong experience across Financial Crime, Risk, or Compliance programs including technology uplift/change
  • Solid understanding of AML/CTF and regulatory environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs and competing priorities
  • Strong risk management and governance experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment
