We are seeking an experienced Product Analyst to support workforce planning products and initiatives, with a strong focus on Enterprise Agreements (EBAs), awards, wage rate changes, allowances, and industrial compliance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring workforce, payroll, and rostering solutions accurately reflect complex industrial arrangements and support effective planning and decision‑making.

You will work closely with product managers, workforce planning teams, payroll, HR, industrial relations, and technology teams to translate industrial requirements into clear product insights, data models, and functional requirements.

In this role you will:
  • Analyse and interpret Enterprise Agreements, awards, wage structures, allowances and penalty conditions to support workforce planning and related products.
  • Translate industrial and workforce requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Support product development related to labour cost modelling, workforce forecasting, and compliance controls.
  • Work with payroll and workforce systems to ensure accurate implementation of rate changes, allowance rules, and award conditions.
  • Analyse the impact of EBA changes and industrial updates on workforce planning, costs, and operational outcomes.
  • Collaborate with data, technology and business teams to validate calculations, rules logic, and reporting outputs.
  • Support testing and validation activities to ensure workforce and pay‑related changes are implemented correctly.
  • Provide ongoing analysis and insights to support continuous improvement of workforce planning products.
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Proven experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst or Workforce Analyst in workforce planning, payroll, or industrial relations environments.
  • Strong practical understanding of Enterprise Agreements, modern awards, wage rates, allowances, penalties and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with workforce planning, rostering, payroll or HR systems.
  • Ability to interpret complex industrial documentation and translate it into clear, implementable requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, particularly around calculations and rules‑based logic.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across HR, IR, payroll, finance and technology teams.
  • Experience working in Agile or product‑led delivery environments is highly desirable.
