About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior One Identity Manager (IAM/IGA) Developer. This is a long-term contract role of 12 months initially with 2 x 12-month extension options, located at our client’s Canberra (ACT) office with onsite working arrangements (must be ACT based).
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Design, develop, and enhance the One Identity Manager platform, including customisations, workflows, and identity lifecycle processes
- Build and maintain integrations between One Identity Manager and enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Entra ID, HR platforms, and Exchange
- Develop custom components using VB.NET, C#, APIs, Angular, and TypeScript
- Implement and enhance role-based access control (RBAC) and identity governance processes
- Contribute to secure, scalable IAM solutions aligned with government security frameworks
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and IT teams to deliver IAM enhancements
- Support testing, deployment, and production change management activities
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to uplift of IAM capability within the organisation
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Strong experience with One Identity Manager, including architecture, configuration, object model, and identity lifecycle management
- Proven application development and integration experience within an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) environment
- Strong technical skills in .NET (C# and/or VB.NET), API development, and system integrations
- Experience integrating IAM solutions with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Entra ID, HR systems, and Exchange
- Strong understanding of IAM security governance, including RBAC, segregation of duties, privileged access management, access certification, and audit/compliance reporting
- Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and deliver IAM solutions in complex enterprise environments
- Experience producing design documentation, supporting testing, and managing production deployments
- Ability to mentor and support less experienced team members
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript for IAM portal or UI development
- Prior experience working in Australian Government or highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with government security frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, and ASD Essential Eight
- Experience with identity governance reporting and dashboard creation within IAM platforms
- Exposure to machine account management and advanced provisioning scenarios
