- 10+ years mission-critical network engineering (Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco)
- Azure networking (production/hybrid): VNet, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, NSGs, route tables, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints/Private Link
- Hybrid architecture: hub-and-spoke, segmentation, BGP, secure connectivity; integration with enterprise firewalls
- Azure troubleshooting: routing/latency/DNS/firewall policies/NSGs using Network Watcher, Connection Monitor, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
- Lead design reviews, implementations, upgrades, operational improvements
- Routing/switching/tunnelling: OSPF/BGP/IPSec/RSTP, MPLS
- Firewall concepts: policy design, segmentation, HA, VPNs, secure operations; cybersecurity frameworks
- Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 8K/9K, Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, FortiGate; LAN/WAN administration & fault finding
- Automation/scripting; virtualisation/hybrid troubleshooting
- Technical customer engagement; strong problem-solving & communication
