A large NSW Government organisation is seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Engineer to join a high-performing digital engineering team delivering modern platforms and services used across the state.
This role will see you working across modern cloud-native applications, contributing to the design, development and delivery of scalable solutions that support critical public-facing digital services. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, architects and product teams within a fully agile environment, helping to shape high-quality software through strong engineering practices and modern development frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop backend services, microservices and RESTful APIs using C# .NET Core
• Build and maintain modern front-end applications using ReactJS and TypeScript
• Contribute to full-stack solution design using contract-driven development practices
• Develop scalable applications integrated with SQL Server or other relational databases
• Implement unit testing and automated testing frameworks
• Apply modern software design patterns and engineering best practices
• Work collaboratively within a fully agile development environment
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Key Skills & Experience
• Strong experience developing backend services, microservices and RESTful APIs using C# .NET Core
• Experience building modern front-end applications using ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS
• Experience working with Material UI, React Hook Form and JEST
• Strong understanding of advanced state management
• Experience with front-end build tools such as Webpack or Vite
• Deep understanding of software design patterns and clean architecture principles
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams
• Familiarity with JIRA and Git workflows
