Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and direction as an application security SME.
- Assist in the design, development, and compliance of applications and the AWS platform.
- Support the architecture and development of CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security teams and product owners to align information security with business objectives.
- Provide advice and support across OCIO programs, implementations, and BAU operations.
- Investigate complex technical problems and engage stakeholders appropriately.
- Provide strategic guidance to the Director and Assistant Director of Platforms & Integration.
- Foster a positive team culture aligned with Agency values.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Identity & Access Management team.
- Provide insights and integration support for monitoring and compliance tools.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Kubernetes Administrator or DevOps Engineer with hands-on AWS automation knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) on AWS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CI/CD technologies to support end-to-end system delivery.
- Understanding of Kubernetes-based applications.
- Knowledge of integration with third-party identity providers in AWS.
- Willingness and ability to learn SAS DevOps on the job.
- Background knowledge of SAS Viya is advantageous.
- Enthusiastic about accessible design, development, and maintaining technical documentation.
- Experience developing REST APIs using Go, NodeJS, AngularJS, Typescript, or Python in Agile environments.
- Experience monitoring AWS components using services such as CloudWatch, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
