URGENT 2.5-Month (80 days) Contract

We are seeking a skilled Senior Developer (Python, Django, React) and play a key role in bridging the gap between business and technology, enabling stakeholders to maximise the value of a sophisticated cloud-based data platform. You’ll develop and maintain secure, high-quality software, collaborate with teams to design and deliver robust solutions, and ensure smooth handover and ongoing support for critical systems.

Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enhance secure software platforms using Python, Django, React, and other relevant technologies to support the Cyber Security team.
• Conduct manual and automated testing, perform code reviews, and ensure software quality, security, and reliability.
• Assist in the implementation, configuration, customisation, and support of both COTS and bespoke software solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to gather requirements, document technical specifications, and design robust solutions.
• Provide ongoing support, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure smooth handover of software to business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

Required Experience
• 7-10 years Strong Software Development experience with hands-on proficiency in Python, Django, React, and the ability to work with other software languages and frameworks as needed.
• Experience with manual and automated testing, code reviews, and ensuring secure, high-quality software.
• Ability to configure, customise, and support both COTS and bespoke platforms, including updating existing systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills for consulting with stakeholders, documenting technical specifications, and working effectively in a small team environment.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and adherence to security standards in software development and operations.
