As the selected candidate, you will:
  • Plan, develop, and manage content processes and artifacts across large programs, ensuring alignment with central content strategy.
  • Drive best practices for product content design, including interface copy, messaging, documentation, notifications, and micro-copy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Owners, Product Designers, Legal, and Engineering to ensure content meets user needs and project goals.
  • Lead content reviews, peer critiques, and contribute to a community of practice to foster continuous improvement.
  • Use insights, user research, and testing data to optimise and improve content effectiveness and accessibility.
  • Coach junior team members and influence content strategy decisions within the broader research and design team.
  • Ensure all online content complies with corporate branding, style guides, legal requirements, and accessibility standards.
To be successful in this role you should have:
  • At least 5 years of experience in UX content design, technical writing, or digital content creation, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of UX principles, content design methods, and technical writing best practices.
  • Experience working within digital development environments, particularly Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility considerations.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.
It is desirable if you have:
  • Experience creating documentation in Markdown.
  • Background working in large organisations with complex digital products.
  • Knowledge of user research, testing, and data-driven content optimisation.
  • A relevant qualification such as a BA or MA in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related field.
