Senior BI Engineer – Large Enterprise Organisation
URGENT Initial 2-3 Month Contract Opportunity (with chance to extend)
$75-$85 including Super (hourly rate)

We are seeking an (NV1 Cleared) Senior BI Engineer
with strong Power BI skills to analyze complex business data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making. The role also involves defining reporting requirements, producing datasets and reports, and collaborating with stakeholders or leading cross-functional teams to address business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with cross-functional leaders and clients to identify business opportunities, challenges, and information needs.
• Select appropriate analytical methodologies and tools to address identified business issues.
• Manage and deliver medium-sized projects or components of larger initiatives end-to-end.
• Perform data gathering, manipulation, modeling, problem-solving, and insight development.
• Present clear, compelling, data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.
Required Skills and Experience
• 4–6 years of proven experience working as a Business Intelligence Engineer or similar
• Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, including dashboard development and data modelling
• Experience delivering projects within Government or Federal environments is highly regarded
Due to security clearance requirement for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizen
with Active NV1 Clearance or higher.
