About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior ArcGIS Developer / Geospatial Software Engineer. This is a l ong-term contract role for an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options, located across ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS and NT with hybrid working arrangements (expectation to attend the office three days per week and attend key Agile ceremonies and team events in person as required).
As the selected candidate, you will:
• Design, build and deploy geospatial applications and survey-driven solutions within the ArcGIS Enterprise ecosystem
• Develop and support applications using ArcGIS Enterprise technologies including Survey123, Field Maps, Workforce and Experience Builder
• Deliver enterprise GIS solutions integrated with Microsoft Azure services and SQL Server environments
• Build and maintain automated data integration and workflow solutions using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps and Azure Functions
• Support administration, configuration and optimisation of ArcGIS Enterprise environments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile delivery environment to deliver scalable geospatial solutions
• Contribute to geospatial governance, standards and best practices
To be successful in this role you should have:
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing survey-driven applications using ArcGIS Enterprise and Survey123
• Strong experience developing applications within ArcGIS Enterprise
• Experience administering and supporting ArcGIS Enterprise platforms
• Hands-on experience with Field Maps, Workforce and Experience Builder
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions and Logic Apps
• Experience with SQL Server, Data Lake Storage and enterprise data integration solutions
• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
It is desirable if you have:
• Experience establishing or contributing to geospatial governance frameworks, standards or working groups
• Experience working within Federal Government environments
• Exposure to Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe) or similar Agile methodologies
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance.
