SAP S/4HANA Change Lead – Modern ERP Transformation
16‑Month Contract | Brisbane Location | Large‑Scale ERP Program

About the Role
As the SAP S/4HANA Change Lead, you will guide the organisation through significant transformation, leading end‑to‑end change management activities aligned with best‑practice methodologies such as ADKAR, Prosci, and Kotter. You’ll work closely with business readiness teams, value stream owners, and senior stakeholders to ensure employees are informed, prepared, and confident in the transition to the new ERP environment.
You will oversee communication, engagement, training alignment, adoption measurement, and resistance management—ensuring a seamless and sustainable transition to new processes and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the change management strategy supporting the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, and readiness activities across the program.
  • Develop communication plans and messaging to support awareness and adoption.
  • Conduct business readiness assessments and coordinate activities across impacted areas.
  • Manage change impact analysis, resistance management, and adoption plans.
  • Track and report on change metrics, training outcomes, and system utilisation.
  • Support embedding new ways of working and ensure sustainability post go‑live.
  • Prepare high‑quality documentation, reports, and executive‑level presentations.

About You
  • 10+ years’ experience in organisational change management, with strong ERP and SAP program exposure.
  • Proven success leading change for SAP S/4HANA or other large‑scale ERP transformations.
  • Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and business readiness.
  • Solid understanding of ADKAR, Prosci, Kotter, or similar methodologies.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with high emotional intelligence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive reporting.
  • Ability to work across multiple priorities in a dynamic program environment.
Desirable
  • Prosci or equivalent change management certification.
  • Experience with SAP Activate and fit‑to‑standard workshops.
  • Public sector or local government experience.
