We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Expert (OPIM) to join a major S/4HANA program supporting critical enterprise systems. This role will play a key part in ensuring high-quality design, configuration, and ongoing support of procurement and inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure and test SAP S/4HANA (OPIM / Procurement & Inventory)
- Provide expert advice on solution design, enhancements, and system improvements
- Support implementation, upgrades, and continuous optimisation
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues
- Deliver system documentation, functional specs, and process flows
- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and quality standards
- Contribute to release management and system change processes
- Strong experience as an SAP Functional Consultant (MM / Procurement / OPIM)
- Proven background working on S/4HANA programs
- Experience across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and inventory management
- Exposure to large, complex enterprise environments
- Experience supporting or delivering system upgrades / transformations
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to produce high-quality documentation and functional designs
- Experience integrating with other SAP modules (e.g. FI, Ariba, Fiori)
- Exposure to government or highly regulated environments
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
