About the Role Our key Healthcare Government client is delivering a major transformation—commissioning a new Central Pharmacy facility, modernising business processes, and implementing a contemporary enterprise software ecosystem.
We are seeking an experienced S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) Functional Expert to join our specialist delivery team. This role will lead the design, build and implementation of SD processes that support a robust, efficient Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle aligned with the new operating model.
You will collaborate with architects, developers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to deliver tailored, fit-for-purpose SAP solutions that integrate seamlessly with the broader S/4HANA and enterprise landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality work in line with our client's policies, safety requirements, and public service values.
- Work as part of a project team to meet milestones, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Engage stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges, and system needs, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design and implement original, scalable S/4HANA SD configurations and WRICEF objects, tailored to business needs.
- Lead the design of SD master data (Business Partner roles, Material Master sales views, pricing, output/communication).
- Ensure smooth integration with MM, FI, EWM, BTP, and external systems.
- Collaborate with the S/4HANA Solution Architect to ensure alignment with the architectural vision and compliance with audit and governance standards.
- Produce detailed project documentation: process flows, design documents, data standards, functional specs, test scripts, and more.
- Conduct unit testing and support all phases of system testing including SIT, UAT, performance, and penetration testing.
- Contribute to cutover planning and participate in deployment activities.
- Support training, handover, and knowledge-transfer activities to uplift internal capability.
- Assist with change management to maximise adoption of new solutions.
- Provide expert support during hypercare and stabilisation, resolving SD issues to ensure a smooth transition to steady-state operations.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering original S/4HANA Sales & Distribution solutions in greenfield or live production environments (mandatory).
- Ability to work onsite 4 days per week(Richlands office, with occasional CBD and Herston requirements).
- SAP S/4HANA SD certification (desirable).
- Additional certifications in related modules such as EWM (desirable).
- Proven ability to design bespoke S/4HANA SD solutions, including full configuration, WRICEF development, and end-to-end O2C process design.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP designs.
- Deep understanding of integration across MM, FI, EWM, BTP, and external systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.
- End‑to‑end project lifecycle experience: design, build, test, cutover, hypercare, and stabilisation.
- Experience in health or pharmaceutical environments (desirable).
