About the Role
An opportunity is available for an experienced Business Analyst (SAP) to join a large, complex organisation undergoing a significant digital enablement and SAP transformation program. The role sits within a portfolio responsible for managing a substantial infrastructure asset base and capital investment program, where high-quality data, efficient processes, and reliable systems are critical.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary digital enablement team, partnering closely with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to deliver SAP enhancements, process improvements, and system upgrades, including preparation for and transition to SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements for SAP ECC6 enhancements and support requests
- Analyse current-state and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency
- Support SAP upgrade and transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA readiness activities
- Collaborate with SAP technical teams to ensure functional design, integration, and business outcomes are achieved
- Develop and maintain business requirements documentation, process maps, and user guides
- Participate in prioritisation and planning forums, providing input into delivery sequencing and dependencies
- Support testing, deployment, business readiness, and post-implementation activities
- Work effectively within an agile, principle-based delivery environment
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business, ICT, and delivery partners
- You are a proactive and adaptable Business Analyst who is comfortable working in large, evolving environments. You communicate complex concepts clearly, enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and bring a practical, solution-focused mindset.
- Essential Experience & Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably in complex enterprise environments
- Strong experience with SAP ECC6 and/or SAP S/4HANA, including enhancements and support
- Proven ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into clear requirements
- Understanding of SAP module integration points
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong documentation capability
- Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA upgrades or migrations
- Background in government, infrastructure, asset management, or large corporate environments
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
