Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Salesforce Administrator. This is a long-term contract role 12 months with 12 months extension with two (2) possible extensions, located at our client’s ACT office with hybrid working arrangements (typically 3 days onsite in Canberra and 2 days working from home; interstate candidates must attend Canberra a minimum of 2 consecutive days per month at their own expense).
As the selected candidate, you will:
• Support and enable users to onboard and effectively use Salesforce applications
• Manage data including data loads, data quality, modelling, and reporting
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to meet business needs
• Support workflows while ensuring compliance with government records and data governance requirements
• Participate in governance processes and ensure releases meet quality assurance standards
• Provide Level 1 and 2 application support, including participation in a 24x7 on-call roster
• Deploy changes to production via Azure DevOps and support release activities
• Troubleshoot incidents using Salesforce debug logs and support testing activities
To be successful in this role you should have:
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience supporting Salesforce applications (Level 1 and 2 support)
• At least one Salesforce certification (Administrator, App Builder, or Developer)
• Experience with data management using Salesforce Data Loader
• Strong experience with Salesforce Reports and Dashboards
• Experience with user provisioning, profiles, permissions, and flow-based automation
• Experience supporting Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide evidence-based recommendations
• Ability to attend the Canberra office in person three days per week
It is desirable if you have:
• Experience using Agile delivery methods such as Kanban or Scrum
• Experience managing Salesforce Sandbox refresh activities
• Experience supporting Salesforce seasonal releases (Winter, Summer, Spring)
• Working knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to assist with troubleshooting
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) clearance.
