About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Manager Project Specialist / Project Technical Lead.
This is a 12‑month contract with a further 12‑month extension, up to 2 extensions, located in ACT, with hybrid work arrangements.
The role sits within a Cyber Security, Cloud and Networks program delivering a major security uplift across a global operating environment.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Assist in project planning and management of technical delivery streams.
- Provide technical assurance and advisory across internal technical team deliverables.
- Provide technical assurance and advisory to support Managed Service Provider deliverables.
- Manage solution integrations and technical project dependencies.
- Assist in defining solution requirements for design.
- Consult and contribute to key design decisions.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within the ICT industry.
- At least 1 year of experience with two or more of the following:
- Security Service Edge technologies (Zscaler preferred)
- Microsoft Entra (including multi‑tenant organisations)
- Networking
- Active Directory
- Legacy application integration, migration, transformation and/or uplift
- Experience working on secure government systems.
- Experience in complex ICT environments, ideally international.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
It is desirable if you have:
- Experience in complex global ICT environments.
- Experience applying ISM and Essential 8 controls in design.
- Experience with cloud computing and complex connectivity and integration patterns.
- Experience across on‑prem, private cloud, SaaS, and secure integration of mixed technologies.
Security clearance requirement:
Candidates must be Australian citizens and able to obtain NV1 clearance.
