About role
A government organisation is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support digital enhancement and automation initiatives across enterprise business systems. Working within an internal ICT team, you will design, build, and support solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365, translating business requirements into secure, compliant, and user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and customise Dynamics 365 solutions
- Build and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven)
- Develop and optimise Power Automate workflows
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and end-to-end solutions
- Contribute to solution architecture, documentation, testing, and deployment
- Manage and integrate data using Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL/Azure SQL
- Ensure solutions meet security, accessibility, and governance standards
- Troubleshoot applications and provide technical support to users
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers
Skills & Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dynamics 365)
- Understanding of Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL or Azure SQL
- Exposure to Power Platform DevOps, pipelines, plugins, or JavaScript (desirable)
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and solution designs
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g. PL-400 / PL-600) desirable but not essential
