An exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Reporting Analyst to support the delivery of performance reporting across a complex capital works and infrastructure portfolio within state government.
This role works closely with portfolio management, investment, and finance teams to enable accurate data‑driven insights and informed decision‑making.
In this role, you will
- Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of portfolio performance frameworks, reporting standards, and templates.
- Help develop and maintain tools and standards for tracking portfolio performance.
- Collect, verify, and compile data from various programs and teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visual summaries to support internal and external stakeholders, identify risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in preparing briefings and summaries for executives, including recommendations for governance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams within the broader organization.
- Experience in managing or reporting on portfolios, programs, or investments, preferably within government.
- Ability to produce high-quality reports that help guide leadership decisions.
- Strong skills in data analysis and experience with tools like Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Excellent ability to interpret complex data.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
