Join a state government department as a Portfolio Management Lead – Infrastructure Capability & Improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team dedicated to enhancing project delivery across complex infrastructure initiatives.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Lead the Capability & Improvement Office, developing frameworks and standards for project delivery.
- Identify and implement process improvements across the portfolio.
- Manage lessons learned to inform future projects and enhance practices.
- Design and deliver training programs to uplift team capabilities.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and advise on best practices.
- Support assurance activities to ensure compliance with standards.
- Significant experience in PMO Leadership at portfolio or program delivery level within infrastructure, capital works or asset-intensive environments.
- Proven ability to establish or operate capability uplift functions.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and change leadership skills.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or MS Project is beneficial.
