About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Consultant to join our client, a leading Australian Payroll and HR solutions company in a client-facing consulting role, delivering people and payroll solutions across a diverse client base.
Based in Milton, Brisbane, you’ll work closely with clients and internal product/customer journey teams to run implementation workshops, document and validate requirements, configure and test solutions, and provide expert guidance on payroll practices, data transformation and integration.
Required skills
- Strong, hands-on experience delivering people/payroll solutions in a consulting or implementation capacity
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (end-to-end payroll concepts and compliance)
- Experience with Awards / Union Agreements / EBAs
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops / implementation sessions and deliver procedural training to end users
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working in client-facing environments
- Strong analytical/problem-solving capability (able to work through complex payroll/people system scenarios logically)
- Experience documenting requirements and translating them into configured system outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple clients/projects, prioritise work, and set/maintain expectations
- Experience with Aurion or similar HRIS/ payroll systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including working effectively with distributed teams and collaboration tools
