The Team
The team is seeking someone who can work independently, stay resilient, and take ownership of tasks from start to finish with minimum supervision. You will need a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and solid Oracle E1 experience within a manufacturing context. Confidence, consistency, and the ability to work closely with factory teams are important.
You will be reporting to a well-respected leader who has recently been hired to drive a major transformation program and uplift the overall ERP capability. You will also have day to day support from a System Analyst who assists with dashboarding and operational processes. The manager is a genuine believer in investing in people, building career pathways, removing blockers, and recognising good work.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing ERP Specialist with strong Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience. You will take ownership of how ERP supports and enables manufacturing operations.
This is a hands-on role where you will work across manufacturing operations to embed best practice ERP usage, governance, automation, and process consistency. You will shape how JD Edwards E1 is used across the business and play a central role in the broader transformation program.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and govern manufacturing processes within Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
- Optimise and maintain BOMs, routings, work orders, WIP, labour capture, and scrap.
- Configure and enhance MRP parameters, planning rules, and scheduling logic.
- Manage inventory transactions including lot and serial control.
- Analyse and manage cost rolls, cost drivers, and manufacturing variances.
- Design and implement Orchestrator workflows and ERP automation.
- Ensure manufacturing data integrity, governance, and accuracy.
- Develop ERP based reports, dashboards, and operational insights.
- Troubleshoot ERP issues across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance.
- Translate factory floor processes into effective ERP system logic.
- Lead ERP training and capability uplift across teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using ERP tools and data.
Essential Skills and Experience
- 7-10 years of hands-on Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience in manufacturing
- Strong capability across BOMs, routings, work orders, WIP, costing, and MRP
- Experience working within complex manufacturing environments.
