- Job Title: Oracle Financials Specialist

- Rate ranges from $700/day to $800/day Incl super
Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise in Finance processes (e.g. Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash), supporting the design and implementation of Oracle ERP solutions.
- Contribute to the development of business requirements, ensuring current state processes are accurately captured and future-state requirements are clearly defined.
- Support the functional design and configuration of the ERP solution by providing detailed business input and validating design decisions against operational needs.
- Collaborate with implementation partners and functional leads to ensure that system configuration aligns with agreed business processes and organisational standards.
- Participate in data readiness activities, including data cleansing, validation, mapping and reconciliation to support migration into the ERP solution.
- Develop and execute functional test scenarios, including system integration testing and user acceptance testing, ensuring coverage of all relevant business processes and scenarios.
- Support business readiness activities, including process documentation, training input, and assisting end users during testing and early life support phases.
- Provide input into reporting requirements, including validation of outputs, reconciliation expectations and financial controls.
- Identify, escalate and support resolution of functional issues, risks and gaps within the Finance domain.
- Act as a change champion within the business, supporting adoption of new processes, controls and ways of working.
Selection Criteria
- Prior experience in an Oracle Fusion implementation in a similar role including requirements gathering, design validation, testing and deployment activities
- Demonstrated experience and strong working knowledge of Finance business processes, including areas such as General Ledger, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Fixed Assets or Financial Reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into practical process and system solutions, working collaboratively with technical teams and implementation partners.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting testing activities, including development of test scenarios, execution of test cycles and validation of outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and support data migration activities, including data validation and reconciliation.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and contribute to resolving business and functional issues in a structured and timely manner.
- A proven record of ethical behaviour and a demonstrated commitment to the client Code of Ethics and Conduct, and the organisational values.
